Paul D. McDonald has had the desire to write ever since that day in 9th grade English class when his teacher asked him to write a short story illustrating an object lesson.

Once the story was committed to paper, there was no turning back. He has published his first novel Mystery at the Haunted Castle in July 2022. This is the first in a series of children's mystery stories featuring the Flaugherty twins, Irish Catholic teens who solve mysteries.
